A poem to my mother…. I wish she would read it…

Forewarned by memories of the past
These memories, I wished would never last.
An action repeated, always the same
Inevitably leads to an anger I can’t tame.
You put me through this every single time
And I’m left as the bad guy if I don’t  say it’s fine.
I know your tongue will spit back reasons for all of your fails
But I can’t stand  to listen to another one of your tall tales.
